The first version was produced during the summer of '98, and has since been significantly reworked in 1999, following organisational changes in the company. For us this was a major CD-rom project, and I am happy to say very well recieved by our client. The brief for the CD was to produce a complete introduction to the products and services offered by the company. Morgan Advanced Ceramics produce ceramics for an incredible diversity of applications and markets. Due to the technical nature of the product, this provided a special challenge - how to make the CD an informative and entertaining experience, while steering the user though the various product categories and departments in a logical manner.

Typically, the target client would be an engineer in a major manufacturing company with a business problem that ceramics could solve. The CD would enable the user to identify a solution and provide the contact numbers to get straight through to the appropriate department and staff in this multinational organisation, without being switched from department to department.
Lots of animations were used to bring the manufacturing processes to life, together with complete user interactivity. New additions include links to 3 group websites, direct from the CD.
