We had enormous fun producing this CD! Charles is very well known in business circles in the Dudley area of the West Midlands and one his many roles for the last few years has been as President of Dudley Chamber of Industry & Commerce (now Black Country Chamber). In 1998 business commitments forced Charles to step down from this role and Emphasys was asked to put together a tribute to the man and his achievements.

We were given a completely free hand on design and content, the tribute would be shown at the Chamber annual banquet and this was the second year that Emphasys has been asked to produce a multimedia presentation for this event. Charles has a great sense of humour so a humerous script was considered essential for the 150 dignitaries attending the banquet.

The story was based around two incompetent aliens who, in their attempt to take over the planet, stumble across Charles and decide that he is a leader who should be emulated as part of their plan to take over Palnet Earth. Through their technological superiority they analyse him, during which they pick up on his two favourite words - INTERTRADING and NETWORKING! It was great to hear the audience reaction to two aliens copying Charles' favourite words! Lots of animation and dozens of individual soundtracks with appropriate distortion kept me busy for quite a few evenings - but it was worth it - sometimes a project seems to fall into place on its own - I even had a good laugh myself!
